Dr. Cindy Rautenbach

Cindy is the founder of Optential Consulting and a passionate advocate for unlocking both individual and organisational potential. As a registered Industrial Psychologist with more than 16 years of experience, she has worked across diverse industries to help leaders and teams build strong foundations for sustainable success. Cindy’s expertise spans Human Resources, leadership development, and organisational change, with a focus on guiding businesses — from startups to growing enterprises — through transformation. She holds a BCom, Honours, MCom, and PhD in Industrial Psychology, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Leadership. Throughout her career, Cindy has dedicated herself to helping people thrive at work, building resilient organisations, and shaping environments where growth, innovation, and performance go hand in hand.

Heleen Schoeman

Heleen brings strong expertise in Business Management, Employment Administration, Finance Administration, and Compliance, ensuring smooth operational efficiency within organisations. She holds a degree in Somatology and has also completed the NQF Level 4 Real Estate qualification, giving her a unique combination of academic grounding and practical business insight. Her diverse background enables her to approach organisational challenges with a broad perspective, while maintaining a firm focus on structure, governance, and compliance. Heleen leverages her skills to streamline business processes, optimise administrative systems, and support financial oversight with precision. Passionate about operational excellence, she helps organisations align everyday practices with strategic objectives.

Nicole Martin

Nicole is a dedicated Human Resources professional with extensive experience in people development and workplace well-being. She holds a National Diploma in HR Management, a certificate in Social Auxiliary Work, and is also a qualified Skills Development Facilitator. Nicole’s career has been defined by her commitment to fostering positive environments where employees feel supported and motivated to grow. With a strong focus on learning and development, she works to identify individual potential and align it with organisational goals. Nicole brings both empathy and structure to her work, ensuring that HR practices are not only compliant but also people-centered. Her passion lies in enabling employees to thrive, enhancing engagement, and helping businesses create cultures that balance performance with care and sustainability.

Robina Steyn

Robina is an HR Consultant with a passion for creating workplaces where people and performance thrive together. She obtained her BSocSci in Psychology and Industrial Psychology, as well as her BCom Honours in Industrial Psychology, and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology at the University of the Free State. Robina’s work focuses on building strong organisational cultures, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting long-term growth. With experience across consulting and HR, she helps organisations implement strategies that strengthen both people and processes. Robina’s people-first mindset drives her commitment to unlocking potential and creating environments where employees feel valued, engaged, and productive. She believes that meaningful results are best achieved when organisations prioritise both individual well-being and collective performance.

Emma-Jess van Lill

Currently completing a Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch, Emma-Jess has already earned her Honours degree in Industrial Psychology and brings hands-on experience across HR consulting, organisational development, and employment relations. As an Industrial Psychologist in training, she is deeply passionate about helping employees find the right fit within organisations while ensuring businesses achieve sustainable success. Her work is driven by a commitment to balancing individual fulfilment with organisational performance. Curious and eager to learn, she continually develops her expertise to stay ahead in a changing professional landscape. By creating workplaces where people can thrive, she aims to contribute to cultures of growth, collaboration, and achievement that benefit both employees and organisations alike.

She leverages her experience to help the business streamline operations and administration, manage finances effectively, and maintaining compliance.

She has completed her Honours degree in Industrial Psychology and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch. She has experience across various fields of Industrial and Organisational Psychology, including HR consulting, organisational development, and employment relations, among others and is always eager to learn more. As an Industrial Psychologist in training, I’m passionate about finding the right fit for every role, helping employees thrive while supporting organisations to succeed.
